To the Trinity
God, Father and Mother, Giver of life,
we surrender ourselves
with confidence to your love
in union with the sisters and brothers of our time.
Broaden our minds to welcome
your living and life-giving Word.
Enlighten our eyes to see beyond our labors.
Amplify our voices
to cry out hope to our wounded world.
Mold our hands and feet to give a body to your dream
of happiness for all humanity.
Jesus, Word Incarnate,
knead our flesh with prayer
so that our words, gestures, relationships,
communities and apostolates
will all be messages of the Gospel
for us and for the people with whom we walk.
Holy Spirit, unquenchable Fire,
we offer ourselves to you: fill us.
Illuminate and sustain us on our journey
toward the 12th General Chapter.
Lighten our steps as we race along
the swift routes of communication.
Fill our hearts with ingenuity, energy and courage
so that we may never become discouraged
but can instead discover ever-new ways to do good.
Moved by St. Paul and accompanied by Mary,
guided by Alberione and guarded by Thecla,
may we always sing “Glory to God!”
as we continue to pray for
peace for all humanity. Amen.
