The Eucharistic Celebration that opened our day, animated by the sisters from Japan and Australia, united our voices in a cry for peace in the world. During the offertory, each chapter member presented at the altar a colorful crane (gru), a bird that in Japan symbolizes peace, made of paper using the origami technique. To this intention, we joined our prayers for the sisters of the Congo–Ivory Coast delegation.
The morning was devoted to deep reflection. We revisited the insights shared over the past few days, including the Superior General’s report on the state of the congregation, an overview of our economic realities, and the rich presentations from our various circumscriptions. It was a time to listen, ponder, and let the Spirit stir within us.
In the afternoon, we shifted into group work, following the synodal method of “Conversation in the Spirit”. Engaged and inspired, each group later presented their reflections to the full assembly.
All in all, it was a day marked by prayer, dialogue, and discernment—a truly synodal journey, lived together!
