And we have come to the end of an intense and engaging week for all of us. In our work, we have deeply felt our being sisters to one another, united by the same desires and the same vision, supported by the daily celebration of the Eucharist and by your prayers.
Under the wise, gentle, yet firm guidance of Sr. Tiziana, we have reached an important moment in our Chapter. We have begun to analyze and discuss the many proposals from the Daughters of St. Paul that make up the Working Document. A challenging task, but the atmosphere among us is one of great serenity, warmth, sisterly spirit and gratitude for the journey the congregation has made. We have identified a “direction” that will illuminate the journey for the next six years, from which seven “calls” or priorities have emerged. We then exchanged, with love and freedom, the proposals that, once voted on, will constitute the “recommendations” to the next general government—that is, the actions that can help achieve those priorities.
We ask you to continue to pray for us as we approach with faith and discernment the approval of the Chapter Document, so important for our congregation over the next six years.
We pray you have a blessed and peaceful weekend!
